Images for a Verizon-bound ZTE V66 Android tablet, previously seen in the FCC database, leaked. Unfortunately, they don’t reveal much
The 7-inch ZTE V66 will sport Android Honeycomb (3.2) when it is released and will run on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It will also have a 1280 x 800 resolution. The exact details haven’t been released for the rest of the tablet, but customers will be able to use a rear-facing camera as well as a front-facing camera. The tablet will sport a 4,000mAh battery.
Sprint may be releasing a similar tablet called the ZTE V55 Optik. The specifications are fairly identical with the biggest difference being the V66 running Verizon’s 4G LTE network while the V55 running Sprint’s 3G network. The ZTE V55 Optik is rumored to start shipping on February 5.
The release date and price of the Verizon ZTE V66 has yet to be announced. TabletPCReview will keep you posted as soon as more information is possible.
