Vizio introduced a new 10-inch tablet at CES 2012, and though details are still limited, the company promised a powerful slate.
Dubbed the Vizio VTAB 3010, the tablet will offer Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as dual cameras. While Vizio remained mum on the amount of megapixels each shooter will offer, the rear camera will pack a flash. As for ports, there are two at the bottom, which look to be microUSB and microHDMI. Though no physical controls were visible, there will most likely be a power button, headphone jack and volume control on the top or side edges.
Taking a cue from Acer, Vizio released a picture of the VTAB 3010 but neglected to mention details of the OS or processor, simply saying that the tablet is “coming soon” to the market. The company announced an 8-inch Android tablet at last year’s event, only to launch the slate with a reduced price in August.
