Xfinity TV Go Now Lets Users Watch Dozens of Live Channels on Their iPad or Android Tablet

Comcast has just re-branded its mobile app as Xfinity TV Go, and added the ability to stream almost three dozen channels to mobile devices.

Comcast Xfinity TV Go AppFor some time, the cable company has offered an app that let its subscribers watch a range of TV shows and movies, and even download some of them. But a new version was released this afternoon that takes an important next step: it allows users to watch live TV on their iPad, iPhone or Android device.

This includes up to 35 channels — the exact number depends on which channels the user has subscribed to as part of their cable package. The list includes CNBC, CNN, Disney Channel, several versions of ESPN, Fox News, and FX.

The iOS version of Xfinity TV Go is available now on the App Store, and the Android one can be found on Google Play.
