One of YouTube’s limitations is that its videos are only available when users are connected to the Internet, something that’s not always true for tablets. Google has just announced that it’s going to add offline viewing to YouTube’s mobile apps
“This upcoming feature will allow people to add videos to their device to watch for a short period when an Internet connection is unavailable,” according to a blog post on the official YouTube partners and creators blog.
There are free YouTube apps for iOS and Android. This new feature is scheduled to be added to these in November.
