The Surface Pro 2 has the newest generation of the Intel Core i5 processor (codename “Haswell”), which gives it significantly better performance while also increasing the battery life. It will be available in a range of configurations: A 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage, 4GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB. A microSD memory card slot can provide extra storage capacity, and Microsoft is giving users 200GB of SkyDrive storage free for two years. This tablet has a 10.1-inch, 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, a stylus, and includes a redesigned kickstand that is able to hold the device up at two angles, not just one. It also sports a USB 3.0 port and a Mini DisplayPort. It launched running Windows 8.1 Pro.
- Excellent design and build

- Active pen proves very useful
- Performance matches best in class
- Needs a keyboard cover to be complete
- Desktop experience a bit awkward
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a powerful tablet with an amazing design. Users that need a powerful and portable machine should definitely take a look, but everyone else should gander elsewhere owing to its high price.
