Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7

  |   by TabletPCReview Staff

This is a full-size Android tablet with a mid-range price. It has a 9.7-inch screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, rather than 16:10, making it look more like an iPad than many previous Samsung tablets. This display has a 1024 x 768 resolution, which results in a relatively-low pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, with 1.5GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of built-in storage and microSD slot.

  • Pros

    • Professional look

Quick Take

Although somewhat hampered by its low-resolution screen, this device's sleek design and immense battery life help make it a decent option for people looking for a full-size Android tablet for general use at an affordable price.
