The Apple iPad (3rd gen) features the same 9.7-inch display as its predecessors, but has a higher-resolution screen, sporting 2048 x 1536 pixels, for a 264 PPI count. It also features the Apple A5X system on a chip with a dual-core CPU and quad-core GPU.
