LG’s comeback on the tablet market is headed for success. The G Pad 8.3 offers a lot for a comfortable price. The premium feeling the exceptional display provides is praiseworthy, as well as the above-average hardware platform, which guarantees happy customers for LG.

LG G Pad 8.3 -- FrontThere’s room for improvement in the rear-facing camera, and insufficient device connectivity. Still, everyone who decides on the LG G Pad 8.3, expecting an upper mid-class tablet, will be pleasantly surprised with the overall impression.

  • Display is sharp and offers good contrast
  • Speedy hardware performance
  • Pleasant and ergonomic size and weight

  • Poor rear-facing camera
  • No 3G and 4G connection support
  • No NFC support

Bottom Line

The LG G Pad 8.3 offers more than pleasing performance and a highly comfortable feel. It seems like a well-envisioned and optimally-designed tablet, epecially in a mid-range device.
